Powerful Prayers
the warriors of light do not rely on strength alone. They make use of their opponent's energy too. They are enthusiastic while entering a fight and perfect the moves and strikes that they learnt during training are not enough to win. What counts is experience . Then they open their hearts to the universe and ask God to give them the inspiring to turn every blow from the enemy into the lesson in self- defence. their companions say "They are so superstitious! They stopped fighting in order to pray; and they are showing respect of their opponent's tricks" The warriors do not respond to these provocations. They know that without inspirations and experience, no amount of training will help to win the battle.
Most caring
The writer, Leo Buscaglia, was once invited to be on the jury of a school competition to find "the child who cared most for others" The winner was a boy whose neighbor, a gentleman of over 80 has just been widowed. When he saw the old man sitting in his garden, crying the boy jumped over the fence, sat on the man's lap and stayed there for a long time. When he went back his mother asked him what he had said to the poor man. "Nothing" said the boy. "He lost his wife and that must have really hurt. "I just went over to help him to cry"
Measuring Love.
An emperor said to the Rabbi Yeoschoua ben Hanania. "I would very much like to see your God" "Thats impossible", said the Rabbi. "Impossible? Then how can I entrust my life to someone I cannot see?" " Show me the pocket in which you have placed the love of your wife, and let me weigh it in order to see how large her love is"
"Don't be silly; no one can keep someone's love in their pocket" "The sun is only one of the works which the Lord placed in the universe and yet you cannot loot at it directly. You cannot see love either but you know you are capable in falling in love with a women and entrusting your life to her. Is it not clear then that there are certain things we trust even we cannot see them? " the rabbi asked
